Platform Product Management jobs
Platform PMs own products whose users are developers: model APIs, SDKs, fine-tuning services, and the dashboards where customers watch their token bills. The craft is developer experience — naming, versioning, deprecation policy, rate limits — plus pricing decisions that ripple through every customer's margins.
Good candidates have usually shipped an API before; great ones have been paged about one. Reading customer telemetry and writing changelogs developers don't hate counts for more than discovery theater. API-first AI companies hire this role constantly, and it travels remote better than consumer PM work.
