Product Engineering jobs

Product engineering at an AI company is regular full-stack work with an irregular ingredient: the feature streams, cites its sources, and occasionally refuses. These are the React, TypeScript, and Python roles building the applications around the models — chat surfaces, dashboards, editors, and the unglamorous settings pages that make it all a product.

The stack reads like modern web engineering anywhere — Next.js or similar, Postgres, a queue — plus streaming APIs, token budgets, and optimistic UI over slow model calls. AI companies hire more product engineers than ML engineers once they have real users, which makes this the widest door into the industry for strong generalists. Salaries are published often, and remote arrangements are common.
