Product ops at an AI company means running the machinery around a product that changes weekly: coordinating model version rollouts, wrangling beta programs, triaging feedback that ranges from bug reports to philosophy, and keeping the internal FAQ ahead of the release notes. It's the connective tissue between research, product, and support.

The AI-specific twist is incident response for model behavior — when outputs go strange, someone runs the process that decides between rollback, prompt fix, or shrug. Strong writing matters as much as any tool. These roles are newer and less standardized than the rest of product, which makes titles noisy and negotiating room real.
