Developer Relations jobs
DevRel at AI companies is credibility work: sample apps that actually run, docs that anticipate the failure modes, conference talks with real latency numbers, and being the person developers trust in a market drowning in launch-day hype. The audience can smell a demo rehearsed around the model's weaknesses.
The job splits unevenly between building — cookbooks, SDK examples, integrations — and communicating, and the ratio varies by company, so ask which side the role weights. Public artifacts are the resume: a repo people use beats a decade of titles. Remote is standard, travel is the tax, and good DevRel people are effectively unhireable-away.
